Our goal at The Zebra has always been simple: to make shopping and saving on insurance simpler. After all, no one loves spending hours comparison shopping, when they can enter their info in one place and get quotes from hundreds of insurance companies at the click of a button.
In the interest of continuing to simplify insurance shopping and management, we’re introducing a new wallet feature. If you’ve shopped with us before and/or purchased a policy, you can now log-in and find all of your information, quotes and policies saved in one place in The Zebra Wallet.
How The Zebra Wallet works
If you’ve used The Zebra before to shop for rates or purchase a policy, navigate to the top of the screen where you’ll see a login button. You can also access the log-in screen directly here. You will be prompted to enter your email.
Once you enter the email you used previously when you entered your information in The Zebra, you will receive a link to your email. Clicking this link will take you to your wallet dashboard.
On the dashboard, you will see all your active policies. You can also easily re-shop and refresh your quotes. You can also talk to an agent if you have any questions or set a reminder to shop later.
If you have purchased a policy or policies, you will see those in the dashboard.
You can request changes and updates, if needed. Clicking the link under the policy to request changes will display the phone number you need. Depending on your policy, the phone number may be for The Zebra agency or directly to the insurance company that carries the policy.
Automatic re-shop
One of the most exciting features in the Zebra Wallet is the ability to take shopping for insurance off your to-do list. While customers of The Zebra have always used our comparison engine to quickly shop and compare options from hundreds of insurance companies, now we're taking it a step further.
For many current customers, whose policies are ready for renewal, we will automatically shop for you. When you log-in to the Zebra Wallet, you can see the best coverage option we found for you — automatically. We can tell you both how much your insurance rate will be going up on renewal, and if you could save money by switching to another insurance company.
Note: If you don't see automatic re-shop options available in your Zebra Wallet account, you can still reach out to our agents to see what options are available to you.
What’s next?
Right now, this account gives you access to a wallet where you can access all of your policies, even through different providers all in one place and automatically shop for you when it's time to renew.
However, we have plans for additional features to roll out very soon. Keep an eye out for:
- **Direct links to your carrier.**While some changes will need to be made directly through your insurance company, you can soon use your Zebra Wallet as a direct link to the carrier portals for all of the companies you have policies with. This will make it easier to make changes or file claims from one starting hub.
- Policy ID cards. Soon you can keep even more policy information in one place, so you don’t have to juggle multiple carrier apps to reference your policy information and download your ID cards.
